More Bonus Material (and a New Release)
Hello my dearest loves!
Just a quick note from me, as it’s been brought to my attention that I never passed on the bonus epilogue from The Meet Queue-t. So consider that rectified here.
Oh, and it’s from Oliver’s perspective.
Fun fact: he’s been hard an embarrassing amount of the day.
Another fun fact: I wrote it as fade to black.
Read it so you can email me a long rant about how disappointing that is as a reader. I totally agree. I’m the worst. (But hey, maybe I’ll be persuaded to write Tessa/Oliver smut. Believe me when I say it won’t take much persuading).
BUT I have something far more exciting than Oliver’s adoration.
That’s right. A book with PLENTY of smut. (No, I do not have an obsession. What are you talking about.)

(graphic shamelessly stolen from Rachel Rowan’s Instagram page)
Look at this gorgeous cover. Look at it. Note the Pride and Prejudice reference in the title. What more do you need to know? You already know you’ll love it.
Rachel is one of my all-time favourite writers. Full stop. Exclamation mark. She is a FABULOUS author with a talent for writing the raw human experience in a way that just sucks you in.
When you’re stuck sharing a flat with a man known as Lecherous Dave to save money, you’ll do anything for a leg up at work—even if rumours say that requires cosying up to the boss’s son. Fortunately for admin assistant Poppy, he’s gorgeous. Unfortunately, she’s just drunkenly laughed in his face and accused him of tax avoidance. And she’s about to make it worse…
Roscoe Blackton has sacrificed sleep and sanity to land a senior role at London’s biggest wealth management firm. The fact his dad owns the whole company has nothing to do with it—or so he tells himself. But he can’t escape the whispers of nepotism, and his new assistant makes it horrifyingly clear everyone believes climbing him is the best way to climb the corporate ladder.
Desperate to prove he’s more than his background, Roscoe realises Poppy might have the answer—if they can ever recover from their disastrous first impressions. She could teach him how to live without privilege, while he can give her a true taste of luxury. But as their social experiment causes their personal lives to become hopelessly entangled, keeping things professional gets complicated.
He’s her boss. She’s his assistant. But they’re both adults. They know what they’re doing. And they’re definitely, absolutely, obviously not going to fall for each other…right?
A laugh-out-loud, emotionally sweet, and occasionally very steamy romantic comedy.
There’s anxiety rep, social commentary, and two very real people finding their way through this world to each other. It’s a beautiful book, and I had the privilege (ha, see what I did there?) of beta reading it. And it’s arriving in the post soon because there are some certain bits I’m going to reread. For, um, fun.
Rachel also has another book AND a collection of novellas (yes, all with smut and gorgeous men) out, so please read them immediately.
Quick note that my next novella is currently on a special preorder price of £0.99 so get it while you can!
Until May 1st, when I will bug you again with my slightly unhinged ranting.
